Our Country House offers 5 spacious and selfcatering apartments.  This country house enjoys enchanting view over the surrounding valley and is ideal for those who wish to have a relaxing holiday but at the same time visit the nearby cities of art such as: Siena, Florence, Perugia, Assisi, Montepulciano, Viterbo and the many hot water SPA resorts like: Saturnia, San Filippo, Chianciano Terme e San Casciano dei Bagni.  There are also a large number of archaeological sites nearby, notably the Etruscan tombs at Tarquinia, Vulci, Tuscania, Sovana and Pitigliano. Lake Bolsena with its two islands, Martana and Bisentina, is a few kilometres away whilst the lovely city of Orvieto.

Sant'Angelo is situated in a peaceful location next to the Monte Rufeno natural Reserve Park (600 Mt).  It is a protected area of about 3.000 hectares, which stretches on 3 REGIONS: Latium, Tuscany and Umbria.  The dense woodland and the complete peace and quiet that is so precious in a brash modern world has been left untouched by generations of Tuscans and Etruscans.  This Park is a unique place, where nature lovers can appreciate its beauties and its richness of colour and of scents.  Guests can visit the Reserve alone or together with professional guides; they can go on excursion by bicycle, by well-behaved horses or walking in the country footpaths or along the banks of the Paglia river, a very quiet fishing area.

The charming stone country house has been completely and recently restored in the typical Tuscan style, trying to respect the original structure and features. It offers 5 large and high quality apartments: ROSA, VIOLA, IRIS, GIGLIO and MIMOSA, each one has its own colour and tone.  The apartments are well furnished with care taken to make the rooms cosy and refined. All the 5 apartments have a wonderful view over the surrounding landscape and verdant countryside.  All the apartments have: an independent entrance, superbly spacious light rooms and cool rooms.  The apartments are for: 2-4 people, 2-5 people, 4-6 people and 6-8 people. All of the apartments have: equipped kitchen, independent central heating and TV.  GIGLIO Apartment (70 square meters; sleeps 2/5 - ground floor); ROSA Apartment (65 square meters � sleeps 2/4 - First floor); - MIMOSA Apartment dep�ndance (90 square meters; sleeps 4/6- Independent Dep�ndance - ground floor);
VIOLA Apartment (70 square meters; sleeps 2/4- First floor); IRIS Apartment (60 square meters; sleeps 2/4- First floor) .
Viola and Iris Apartments have a connecting door so to be rented as a whole spacious apartment of 130 square meters for 6-8 people with: 2 large double bedrooms with another extra single bed (3+3= 6 sleeps), 1 twin bedroom (2 sleeps), 2 bathrooms with shower, 1 large living room with: 1 comfortable sofa bed (1 sleep), colour TV, dining area, fire place, equipped kitchen, big refrigerator-freezer.

FOOD and WINE: Restaurants and Trattorie throughout Alta Tuscia serve delicious, wholesome local cuisine and many special food festivals are held in celebration of the area�s uniquely-flavoured produce. Wine is produced here to Italy�s usual high standards.  The best-known local quality wines are ALEATICO (Gradoli), EST!EST!EST! (Montefiascone), BRUNELLO (in MONTALCINO). The area is no less famous for its OLIVE OIL.  This territory is rich in HISTORY; in fact the surrounding area is full of etruscan and medieval monuments. This country estate extends on 3 Regions: TUSCANY, LATIUM and UMBRIA, very close to San Casciano dei Bagni Village, Bolsena Lake, Orvieto town and 30 minutes by car to the Montalto sea side.  The closest airports are: FIUMICINO airport in Rome (1 hour and 30 minutes by car) or CIAMPINO airport in Rome (1 hour and 30 minutes by car) or PISA airport (2 hour and 30 minutes by car).  - Cheap flights ( low cost) available from LONDON to ROME in CIAMPINO airport or in PISA airport.  These are the companies: Alitalia, Iberia, Ryanair, Myair, EasyJet, Lfthansa, Vueling, Virgin, Volare web. - Car hire available from www.avisautonoleggio.it (car rental = AVIS company) From ROME (1 hour and 30 minutes by car or by train):  Motorway A1, exit ORVIETO.
