Azienda Agricola Biologica Cesani is an organic farm nestled in the rolling hills of the Tuscan countryside, in the tiny country hamlet of Pancole, 6 km to the medieval town of San Gimignano, halfway between Siena and Florence. The estate is surrounded by its own vineyards and olive groves, from which the Cesani Family have been producing for decades excellent wines and extra-virgin olive oil, combining harmonically respect for the environment and modern technologies, love for their homeland and sustainability.
Besides the working farm, they run Agriturismo Cesani, which provides lovely holiday accommodation a short distance to the centre of San Gimignano. The Agriturismo consists of 10 simple, but comfortable rooms and of a nice panoramic apartment, where you can experience the real Tuscan country life off the most beaten tourist paths, and discover delightful flavours and ancient traditions.
A genuine farm where you can start your emotional journey through culture, history, art, and typical flavours.

In the old family cellars and surrounding farmhouses, guests are welcomed and offered the opportunity to get in touch with the country life, to appreciate a charming experience in the unspoilt landscape surrounding San Gimignano, in the heart of the typical Tuscan gentle hills. 
Our holiday accommodation consists of 8 bright and comfortable double rooms, 1 single room, 1 triple room, and a spacious apartment. 
Our rooms have been recently renovated maintaining the original features of the typical Tuscan architecture. They are simple, basically furnished, but very comfortable, with a cosy homely atmosphere. They are named after the colours of our countryside. Spend your holiday in a room with a view on a world to be discovered!

Pets: well behaved pets are allowed.

Agriturismo Cesani is located in the area of San Gimignano, 6km to the historical centre of this charming hilltop town.
San Gimignano is a medieval art town which developed in Medieval times from an Etruscan settlement. San Gimignano flourished thanks to the Via Francigena, the ancient pilgrims' road linking Canterbury to Rome which runs through the town. The town is registered in the Unesco's World Heritage list, and it is known worldwide thanks to its imposing towers. 
The major art towns of Tuscany are a short distance to San Gimignano and they are all easily accessible on a daily trip (Siena 35Km away, Colle Val D'Elsa 10Km away, Monteriggioni 20Km, and Montalcino 90Km away). The Etruscan town of Volterra is just 25Km away, Pisa, with its famous Leaning Tower, is 90Km away and Florence, the birthplace of Renaissance, is 45Km away.
The verdant countryside surrounding San Gimignano is a joy to explore and offers a variety of less-known, but very interesting sights

Coming from Florence and/or Pisa (via Florence):
Exit Motorway A1 at Firenze Impruneta, take the dual carriageway Florence �Siena in direction to Siena and take the exit Poggibonsi Nord;
Coming from Siena:
Take the dual carriageway Florence-Siena in direction to Florence, take the exit Poggibonsi Nord;
From exit Poggibonsi Nord follow signs for San Gimignano; proceed on this road for about 11km. At the roundabout with roses, at the south entrance of San Gimignano, follow signs to Certaldo; past the medieval town of San Gimignano, and follow signs to "Il Castagno"; after 700mt take right signposted Pancole; past the village of Pancole, after 300mt on the right you will find the entrance of Azienda Agricola Cesani.
