the farm

We run a family business, mainly based on the vine-growing, situated in the heart of the Valpolicella Classica. 

We grow our vines along Negrar Valley, in different locations and altitudes. 

The name of our agrotourism "Le Croibe" finds its origin in one of our favourite vines, that grows in one of the most beautiful areas of the Negrar valley. 

Our gastronomical centre, as well as our B&B are situated on one of the surrounding hills, at 350mt, where cultivated lands and woods alternate, almost reaching the town of Verona. 

Besides our wines, the other tipical cultivations are olive oil and cherry-tree, that once were considerated an important economical source for the local families.

Thanks to a careful restoration, we can now host our customers in three spacious rooms, that still keep all the warmth atmosphere of the past. 
Each room has a private bathroom, independent air condition, minibar, phone line.

Valpolicella offers to its guest a large variety of possible itineraries: cultural, gastronomical, scenical...that you can follow not only by car. 

If you decide to rent a bike, or a horse, or just walk along our foot paths, you will surely get to know enchanting places rich of art and nature, that most tourists do not visit at all:
- the vines tha grow on our hills, supported by the "Marogne", walls of nude stones built up during the years by our farmers. 
- the centuries-old olive and cherry trees, and the woods. 
- the prestigious wine-shops, where we produce the famous Valpolicella and Amarone wines 
- the romanitc parishes of S. Floriano and s. Giorgio 
- the many Venetic houses, aristocratic residences. 
- the old caves of Lessinia Stone 
- The natural reserve of Lessinia, with its grazes, its alpine summer pastures, its quarters and the many old stone-houses, Molina falls, the grand natural arc bridge of Ponte di Veja, the sphinx valley in Camposilvano, the famous fossil reamins of Bolca, the natural abyss of Spluga dela Preta (a real paradise for speleologist). 
- the many long distance ski courser, that become during the summer enchanting foot paths 
- The Monte Baldo, a unique source of vegatation, rich of flowers and threes. 

Verona, romantic town, home of Romeo & Juliet and gorgeous art centre with a millenary history, is just a few minutes away. 

Don't miss the numerous artistical events organized in Verona during the summer season, especially in the fantastic scenaries of the Roman Theatre and the Arena. 

Garda Lake, an ideal location for windsurfing and sailing, is only half an hour away. 

Other beautiful cities such as Mantua, Vicenza, Padua and Venice, are easily reachable by car.

"Le Croibe" agro-tourism, is located in Montecchio di Negrar, in Valpolicella, hilly region near Verona.

From Verona:
Follow the signs for Trento. Turn right at Parona, following the signs for Valpolicella. You will then reach a small village calles S.. Maria di Negrar, once there, follow the signs for Negrar. 
Just before arriving at Negrar, 300 meters after le local cooperative wine grower's association (cantina sociale di Negrar) turn right to Montecchio. 
After another 100 meters, turn right again, following the small road that guides you to Montecchio.
You will reach our agro-tourism after approximateli 4.5 km, just where the deviation to Tramanal town stands. 

From the motorway :
A4 and A22 Exit Verona nord, follow the traffic signs to Valpolicella along the main road (Superstrada) until you reach s. Pietro Incariano. 
Then turn right, following Negrar.
Once yu'll reach S. Maria di Negrar turn left to Negrar tow. 
Just before arriving at Negrar, 300 meters after le local cooperative wine grower's association (cantina sociale di Negrar) turn right to Montecchio. 
After another 100 meters, turn right again, following the small road that guides you to Montecchio.

From Trento (SS12):
When you arrive at Domegliara, turn left to Valpolicella, pass S. Pietro in Cariano until you reach S. Maria di Negrar, then turn left to Negrar.
