First of all, we offer you a warm welcome in one of our comfortable apartments, in the middle of the Tuscan country-side, with an enchanting view of the valley and Arezzo.
Here silence and tranquillity are beyond compare! Therefore we suggest you come here to relax, to enjoy the surroundings, to practice sport activities if you like, and have a memorable holiday.
The marvellous natural wealth of this part of Tuscany gives infinitive opportunities to explore the territory on foot.

structures

The farmhouse has its origins in the late 18th-century and it is surrounded by 20 hectares of olive groves and oak woods.
The owners live in the farmhouse and offer accomodation in two comfortable apartments that each sleep five people and have recently been finely restored and furnished. Sitting area in the garden with wooden table and chairs. 
At guests disposal deck-chairs to relax, a barbecue and two mountain-bikes.

 Depending on the season and the weather we can propose different itineraries, from 1-2 hours up to 7-8 hours, suited to the capacity of everybody.
You will be accompanied by an expert guide that will help you in the recognize of plants and wild animals. Besides a wide variety of flora, it is possible to meet wild boars, roe-bucks, deers, foxes, squirrels, badgers, hedge-hogs and buzzards. Price on request. 

   If you like having fun with bikes and you want to discover country lanes and tracks in the woods, we offer you our mountain-bikes for free.

surrondings

Arezzo is only 10 km distant from Galealpe and it is a town of Etruscan and Roman origins and counts about 100.000 habitants.
It has great historical, artistic, literary and gastronomic interesty. Arezzo was the birth place of important men, such as Francesco Petrarca, Pietro Aretino, Giorgio Vasari, Francesco Redi and Guido Monaco.

It is a small village on the hillside of Val Tiberina. It has an ancient centre with medieval houses and Renaissance mansions look out on to steep and meandering lanes and small squares; it is surrounded by the ancient walls.
The village is well known for its artisan linens, cotton goods and for antique furniture restoration.

Cortona is a small town of Etruscan origin, in a panoramic setting over the Valdichiana.
 It is enclosed by ancient walls and it is mostly built with sandstone.
The part of the town along the slopes of Monte S. Egidio is the "living" town while on the other side there is the "dead" town with its necropolis and tumulis.

where we are

by car:
-Motorway A1 Firenze-Roma.
-"Arezzo" exit (Galealpe is 21 km away).
-Follow directions for "Bibbiena".
-Go on the highway "Battifolle-Arezzo" (8 km).
-After the traffic-lights, pass under the fly-over bridge and turn left ("Bibbiena" direction).
-Take in the ring-road. After the traffic-lights go on straight.
-At the roundabout (you will see "Il Magnifico" shopping centre) turn left for "Castiglion Fibocchi"direction.
-Keep on the main road (Sp1 "Sette Ponti" state road) following "Castiglion Fibocchi" direction.
-Pass through "Quarata". Cross the bridge on the Arno River at "Ponte Buriano".
-Follow directions for "Pieve S. Giovanni" hamlet. -Pass "Cincelli" hamlet (just 4,5 km to Galealpe).
-Pass through "Pieve San Giovanni" and take the country lane at the end of the hamlet.
-After the cemetery (on your right) the road is not asphalted anymore (1 km to Galealpe).
-Follow the wooden signs to "Galealpe".
